The Daedong Lake Deep Tunnel is a 17.5-kilometer-long sewage transmission tunnel, buried 30 meters below the lake's surface. Solving sewage treatment issues for 3 million residents, DEEPINFAR developed the Daedong Lake Deep Tunnel Smart ROV, which effectively collects internal information about the tunnel through optical, acoustic, electromagnetic, and other detection methods, providing a basis for the later operation and management of the tunnel and becoming a reliable guarantee for the project's intelligence and safety.
The ROV can perform tunnel operational condition inspections and silt removal in underwater environments characterized by high flow rates, high water pressure, corrosiveness, and low visibility, helping to maintain the healthy operation of the deep tunnel and supporting the maintenance of the city's sewage network. In recent years, DEEPINFAR has provided customized ROVs for numerous large-scale construction projects, completing various operational and maintenance tasks.
